Warmly Welcoming Ramadan 1447H, KPB Once Again Presents “Energizing Our Iman” to Bring Blessings

Wednesday, 18 February 2026

In anticipation of the holy month of Ramadan 1447 Hijri, PT Kilang Pertamina Balikpapan (KPB) is once again presenting a series of Ramadan programs titled “Energizing Our Iman.” This program, which has been running since 2023, is part of the company’s commitment to providing energy that not only holds economic value to support national energy security but also brings blessings to employees and the community.

This year’s series of activities kicked off with “Energizing Ramadan,” featuring a religious talk, collective prayer, and the distribution of aid, held at the Ar-Royyan Mosque in the KPB Modification Site Office (MSO) building on Wednesday (February 11). The event was attended by management and employees as a way to mark the arrival of this blessed month.

KPB’s Director of Finance and Business Support, Nailul Achmar, stated in his remarks that Ramadan is a month full of blessings, a month in which all our rewards are multiplied, so this opportunity must be fully utilized. “Insha’Allah, we have been granted the opportunity to enter the month of Ramadan; let us make the best use of it,” he said.

Throughout Ramadan, KPB will continue this program through various activities under the theme “Energizing Our Iman,” including “Energizing Iftar” and “Iftar on The Site” with approximately 3,050 iftar packages for employees, as well as “Energizing New Fitrah” in the form of a grand religious gathering to strengthen the company’s internal spiritual foundation ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

In the social aspect, “Energizing Others” is realized through the distribution of 2,200 Eid gift packages to local government agencies and communities near the company, donations to 7 Child Welfare Institutions (LKSA) and Islamic boarding schools, as well as a program to distribute Eid clothing to 70 children in the surrounding operational areas.

Additionally, through “Energizing Recite Al-Qur’an,” employees participated in Quranic recitation sessions from the 1st to the 15th of Ramadan, where each completed juz was converted into a donation of Rp70,000 for social activities. KPB also organized the “Energizing Ramadan Bazaar” involving employees and partner organizations, as well as “Energizing The Mudik Journey” as a gesture of appreciation for employees ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

KPB’s Vice President of Legal & Relations, Asep Sulaeman, emphasized that Ramadan serves as a moment to strengthen compassion and solidarity.

“Blessings are not merely about spiritual aspects, but also about maintaining trust, fostering solidarity, and ensuring that every step we take brings goodness and blessings to the surrounding community. We want the company’s presence to truly be felt as a benefit by the community,” concluded Asep.
