SAFETY FIRST!!! PT Refinery Pertamina Balikpapan (KPB) Successfully Holds Grand Safety Talk

Balikpapan, June 2022 - In order to create safe working conditions and behavior in the field, the Grand Safety Talk and Reward are considered effective in conveying work safety aspects to increase the active role and potential of workers in realizing K3 culture in the work area and implementing Values Pertamina's Corporate Life Saving Rules and Golden Rule.

In his Safety Talk speech, the Managing Director of PT Kilang Pertamina Balikpapan (KPB) Feri Yani expressed his deep appreciation for all parties who have worked together in making every progress of the Balikpapan RDMP development a success, especially in prioritizing work safety or safety first which has reached safe working hours. as many as 58,734,614 hours and the number of manpower is 11,315 people.

"Thank God, the achievement of Safe Working Hours must be maintained and thank you for the cooperation from all workers that has been provided so far. I urge all project workers in the PT KPB area and heads of contractor companies to be committed and consistent in prioritizing safety and continue "increasing sensitivity and concern between people," emphasized Feri.

For the sake of environmental awareness, Feri also invites all participants to work together to save the world. "Reduce single-use plastic, use refillable bottles, one good step in 2022, hopefully it can protect the Earth for the next 10 years," he concluded.
